Jason Sullivan This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've bought this (for various reasons), and it's worth it every time!
Monster riffs, great song writing...the only thing missing is more songs! Favorite track: Quarter.

Jason Hillenburg Very unique. There is a powerful fusion of modern dynamics with an old school aesthetic. Sweet Cicada never forgets to pummel the listener with invigorating instrumental workouts, but they also have strong vocal melodies and swinging drums that illustrate their older influences. Powerful stuff. I expect their first full length release will kick all appropriate ass.

Fingerprints 02:16
Seen in the eyes of those Whom they have led astray Heard through the mouths of those Who mock and turn away May Adonai... May Adonai rebuke you I smell you in the stench of death And rotting moral decay Evidence you leave wherever you walk, It betrays you... I know, I see they live among us I see, I know their fingerprints I see you! I see you! I see you! I see you! May Adonai... May Adonai rebuke you! The truth He shows me Every time you try to sell the same old lies! Ain’t buying it, no, just get outta my face Ain’t buying it, no, just get outta my face Ain’t buying it, no, just get outta my face I won’t give you a place in my heart... No place. Switch 03:54
Stakin' claims...weasel in Manipulate...me and my kin! I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love and get outta the way I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love and get outta the way On a power trip and all that counts is number one Got the green, call the shots, pull the strings, or so they believe! I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love and get outta the way I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love and get outta the way Wolves always scratchin' at my door I hope I can remember what to do The world is full of crooks and jerks and whores Am I any better if I act the same way too? Better not believe it! When they're slingin' mud, makin' threats Suckin' blood, with no regrets! I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love, and get outta the way I wanna kill, but I find me a better way I got to turn it on, turn it on, turn it on Gotta switch on love, and get outta the way Lyrics by Dan Lively ©2004 King Riff Music, ASCAP

Quarter 09:03
Please pardon me for what I have done I admit it, in my heart, I’m pointing a gun In the face of my enemy How can we love here, when we are so bad? Help us to switch from hate, to love our fellow man Yeah I hate myself, evil man I see Is a speck of dirt in the eyes of eternity, yeah I appeal to you, When you arrive don’t give me what I deserve Come on down, But have mercy on my soul When I think I’m king, I’m treading fire The truth is plain, every man’s a liar My heart is glad that you’ve made the way For the human race to see a better day Yeah Someone good, Someone true Someone right, Only you You Lyrics by Dan Lively ©2004 King Riff Music, ASCAP
